a French Style Road trip

London is expensive & as a new graduate 'expensive' is a word I am shying away from; so in an effort to save money I traded three days of scraping by in London for a road trip through the Loire Valley in France.

Loire Valley is riddled with old castles and châteaux that date back to the Renaissance--of the many châteaux the three most famous are Chiverny, Chombard & Chenonceau, the 3 Ch's. Chenonceau is built over the river making for an impressive castle with stunning views; Chombard is magnificent and huge showing a transition between the styles of the Renaissance & those seen at the Palace of Versailles, and for Tin Tin fans, Chiverny is the castle made popular in the Tin Tin cartoons.
