Once Upon a Time: I love this show because it is so genius to take classic fairy tales, intertwine all of them and then connect all of our beloved characters to our own world. Admittedly, I didn't jump on the Once bandwagon immediately since I assumed a TV show about fairy tale characters would hardly last 3 episodes. Oh, how wrong I was. With a strong cast, great writing and flawless plot, this show continues to have me on the edge of my seat...err..couch in anticipation of what will happen next. Tonight's season 2 premiere is no different: To tread lightly (and avoid spoilers) let's just say that the first episode turns the town of Storybrooke inside out as magic comes trickling into our world.Revenge: From fairy tales to cold, hard revenge, Emily Thorne ignited the screen with her deadly persona and killer styles. Seriously, few women can pull off threatening in heels and skin tight cocktail dresses but leave it to Ms. Thorne to have us running for the hills. Again, to tread lightly and avoid spoilers, Revenge picked up where it left off from last season's explosive ending. Tonight's premiere was great but the ending was all but shocking (as most of the Twitterverse can attest to) when a certain someone comes back from the dead.
666 Park Avenue: There has been a lot of hype about this show's premiere and although the trailers have proved intriguing; I genuinely had no idea what this show was about. In all honestly, I am on the fence about 666 as it has yet to really captivate me and leave me wanting more. Essentially, the show is eerie and revolves around a sinister apartment building where you get the feeling the superintendent is the devil (aren't they always?). There are scary moments, cheap thrills and at the end I'm left with a definite sense of intrigue but not a sense of dedication to being a new fan. My consensus? Stay tuned for this one; it may (or may not) have potential.
