There are few things more frustrating than writer's block--when the barrier to convey what you're feeling into words just doesn't translate. For the most part, I can often find a good quote or anecdote to kick start my writing and let the words flow but in this case, how can a jumble of vowels and consonants ever do the New York Wine & Food Festival justice?
I wish I could capture the feeling of walking to Pier 57 and being enveloped in smells, eager chatter and sights with booths upon booths extending in all directions offering savory bites and fragrant wine. As a self-proclaimed foodie, I (admittedly) only get the chance to explore my passion of the culinary world through my writing and photography here on this blog; so when I had the opportunity to unite with my fellow gourmands, I was overwhelmed in the best possible way.
Since my words seem to be failing me; I will rely on my photos. After all, a picture is worth a thousand words and hopefully these will do the New York Food & Wine Festival more justice than I can....
